Overweight: Are You Too Embarrassed To Go Out In Public?

With obesity on the up rise, people seem to become more and more rude in their approach to people that are overweight.

Everyone claims that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and as you already know, each one of us is that beholder.

So regardless of whether or not you consider judging to be morally incorrect, we all have been guilty of it at some point in our lives.

I personally would never make fun of people that are obese because I know that there is a good explanation for their current physical condition. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not making excuses for anyone and nor do I except people making excuses for themselves.

What I am saying is that instead of laughing at them extend a helping hand by giving them support. You could recommend a good gym, a great diet, workout with them, and so on…

Nine times out of ten the reason that they are overweight is because of some mental trauma or a bad life experience that continues to plague them every single day of their lives.

Have some compassion, because I know that if you were going through some type of life altering event you’d want to be surrounded by those that love and support you.

Some obese people don’t have that convenience and therefore have to face the severe ridicule on their own.

Transformation Starts From Within!

If you are currently overweight and can relate to this article, you must make a decision and put a stop to your problem today.

I don’t care how good a support system you may have, because if you don’t generate the power from within all the conversation in the world will not have a greater enough influence to help you.

You have to honestly ask yourself the following questions; “I’m I worth taking my life back?” Do I deserve to be happy? Do I love myself? Is it fair to the people around me to be unhappy with me?

Those are just a hand full of the questions that you must ask yourself.

Another point I want you to get is that if you are not happy with yourself how can you honestly give to anyone else?

This includes your children, significant other, family, friends, and so on…

So come up with a compelling enough reason as to why you must change your lifestyle to drop the weight and become the fit person that you were destined to be.

Don’t Expect The World To Change To Accommodate Your Feelings

People that are overweight tend to use talk shows and other public broadcast mediums to voice their opinions regarding how they are treated.

I really honestly don’t want to say this, but most of the population will continue treating those that are overweight with no respect.

The audience may momentarily empathize or sympathize with the harsh treatment that obese people go through, but when the show is over most of them will go back to their same thought process.

I said all of that to say this, sense people are usually set in their ways, overweight people shouldn’t focus their attention on getting the general public to empathize or sympathize with them.

Instead they should focus on discovering and developing their own inner strength, because taking the route of making the general public aware of their feelings is an up hill battle that can’t be controlled.

However, obese people can control their own outcome without the approval of the general public.

In closing, if you are overweight or obese make a decision right now that you will no longer except ridicule by looking deep within yourself for a reason that you must change your lifestyle so that you can enjoy life to the fullest just like everyone around you.
