Have you ever stayed up late watching TV? Do you recall the endless sea of “Paid Infomercials?”

If so, I know that you agree that some of the products being advertised are unbelievable.

I’ve seen infomercials selling cooking appliances, beds, fitness equipment, and etc.

Those are all ordinary recognizable items, but there was one product that I saw being advertised that really got my attention.

It was some type of gel that you applied by rubbing it on your stomach. This gel was supposed to reduce the fat in your abdominal area.

I thought to myself, “how ridiculous!”

I absolutely couldn’t believe what I was seeing.

No Substitutes For Dieting And Working Out

I’m going to get straight to the point, “there are no gels or creams in existence that you could purchase that will melt fat from your body!”

As I always explain, companies that sell and market those types of products are preying on your hopes and dreams of developing a slim body using the lease amount of effort.

They know that you’ve probably have tried all of the unhealthy fad diets with little or no success and is hoping to cash in on your desperation.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the bottom line is that if you want to have a great attention grabbing physique, you will have to diet and exercise for it.

Before you give up and lose hope on your dream of getting into great shape, I would like you to know that it’s not as difficult as you may think.

“Lose 30 Pounds In 30 Days, Guaranteed!”

I’m pretty sure that you’ve seen headlines like the one above on many occasions. You may have also seen, “New Scientific Breakthrough, Workouts That Allow You To Lose X Amount Of Pounds In Only 5 Minutes Per Day!”

Don’t fall for those types of gimmicks, like I said it’s not as difficult to get into shape as you may think, but if it was that easy everyone would be in great shape.

Sellers of hyped up products are always screaming that they have discovered some secret workout, supplements, creams, and pills but the truth of the matter is that what worked in the 1970s still apply today. Keep in mind that the body’s physiology stays the same and while there are three ways to perform a workout (good way, better way, & the best way), the key is to make the decision to exercise and take action.

Most of the time all it takes for the sedentary person to begin sculpting their bodies is to just move it! Meaning that you should choose any type of exercise, start slow, and then increase the intensity as your body becomes accustomed to the workouts.

After you’ve gotten yourself into the habit of working out on a regular basis, then you can choose a specific type of exercise program. For example, if you’ve always wanted to do some weight training, stability ball training, or walking on the treadmill then by all means go for it!

I’m not saying that there are not scientific breakthroughs in the health and fitness industry, but just know that getting started is better than doing nothing.

Almost any type of workout can produce results, especially for beginners and sedentary individuals. It’s very common for beginners and those who haven’t worked out for a long period of time to make extraordinary results when they first start a diet and exercise program.

It is those extraordinary results that lead the beginner to thinking that the miracle product they’ve purchased is actually working when in fact they would have made the same progress without it.

But eventually those results begin to slow down and come to a halt.

Now you are back to where you started because you’ve realized that your miracle product didn’t deliver the results it promised.

So if you are unhappy with your appearance and you’ve tried all the over-hyped products that under deliver, finding yourself giving up hope, and in the process of purchasing one of those wonder supplements, just get out there and just MOVE!
